Primitive wooden bowl and waxed pear

I love the way this re-purposed bowl and pear turned out. When I spotted the wooden bowl in a Good Will store I had to have it. Wasn't sure what I was going to do with it but knew it was going to look great somewhere somehow. LOL I cleaned it up, painted it black, sanded it and then stained over it to give it the great primitive look. Then I dug out a bunch of old pears and dipped this one over and over in blackened bees wax scented with cinnamon oils. Then I rubbed spices all over it. Smells so good. Added the pip berry wreath and just LOVE it.

  2. I love everything you do, you know that. I'm kinda glad that I don't live in the US because you can be sure that I would be BROKE buying all your stuff. The FedEx man would be worn out coming to my house. I'm sure he would have me programmed in on his GPS. LOL. Love the way you set the background for your pictures too. A super job all round!!!
